The Spirit of Water

Where water becomes an experience.

A pool is more than water surrounded by concrete. It is a living environment — one where water, circulation, filtration, equipment, landscape, architecture and the people who enjoy it all come together.

At CW Pools we look at the entire system. We believe better pool care begins with understanding the water rather than simply reacting to it. It begins with good design, appropriate equipment, effective filtration, proper circulation, responsible water management, and a clear understanding of how every part of the system works together.

We don't just take care of pools. We understand water systems.

A different kind of pool company

CW Pools was never designed to become another pool-service route. We aren't interested in maintaining as many pools as possible with the same checklist.

We want to work with clients who value knowledge, thoughtful design, quality equipment and long-term solutions. That means fewer projects, better understood.

It means looking beyond today's problem and asking what the system should look like five, ten or twenty years from now. It means knowing when something needs to be repaired, when it should be replaced, and when the better answer is to redesign the system entirely.

Our work begins with understanding.

What we do

Professional consultation

When you have a water, pool, equipment or system question, start with professional expertise. We evaluate the situation, understand your objectives and help determine the most appropriate path forward.

Pool & equipment evaluation

A beautiful pool can hide an aging or inefficient system. Our professional evaluations help homeowners, buyers, sellers and property professionals understand what is actually beneath the surface.

Water-system assessment

Filtration, circulation, hydraulics, pumps, sanitation, water balance and equipment all influence one another. We look at the system as a whole.

Project planning & system design

Whether you're upgrading an existing pool or developing something new, thoughtful planning prevents expensive mistakes. We develop the equipment, water-management and implementation strategy before the work begins.

Equipment selection

The most expensive equipment isn't necessarily the best equipment. The right equipment is the equipment that fits the property, the water, the system and the owner's goals.

Project execution

When a project moves forward, CW Pools can carry the plan into implementation through equipment work, system modifications, configuration, testing and project coordination.

Water is the beginning

Filtration is key.

Water quality isn't created by chemicals alone. Effective filtration and circulation determine how a pool's water moves through the system, what is removed, how efficiently the system operates, and how much intervention may ultimately be required.

Filtration · Micron rating · Circulation · Hydraulics · Water balance · Sanitation · Equipment
The objective isn't simply to add something to the water. The objective is to understand the water.

Living Water

There is something about water that goes beyond chemistry and equipment. Water moves. Water reflects light. Water changes the atmosphere of a space. Water connects architecture with nature. Water can turn an ordinary backyard into a place people actually want to be.

This is where our philosophy begins to expand. We are interested in the relationship between water, nature, technology, design and human experience. We call that exploration Living Water.

It isn't about pretending every idea is proven science. It is about remaining curious, asking better questions, and exploring what becomes possible when we stop thinking of a pool as simply a hole filled with water.

Where we're going

The pool of the future will be different. Equipment will communicate. Sensors will monitor conditions. Systems will provide information to the owner. Water management will become increasingly connected. And eventually, intelligent software and AI will help interpret what the equipment and water are telling us.

Tom is preparing for that future now. His work is moving toward AI programming and intelligent pool-equipment systems — bringing together the physical world of pumps, filtration, circulation, water management and equipment with the digital world of sensors, software, automation and artificial intelligence.

The goal isn't technology for technology's sake. The technology should serve the water.

A future pool should be able to tell its owner what is happening, identify developing problems, and help make water management more precise before a small issue becomes a major repair. That is the ecosystem we're building toward.

From the desert to the future

Our roots are in Arizona. The desert teaches you to respect water. Sedona teaches you to appreciate the relationship between water and landscape. And the future teaches us that the systems surrounding water can become smarter.

  • Practical experience
  • Professional water management
  • Thoughtful system design
  • Responsible equipment selection
  • Emerging technology
  • A deeper respect for water

We are building a company that can grow with the technology without losing sight of the thing that started it all: water.

A more thoughtful way forward

We don't believe the future of pool care is simply more chemicals, more equipment, or more technicians driving from house to house. We believe the future is better-designed systems, better information, better equipment, responsible water management, and technology that helps people understand what is happening in their own water.

And eventually, the boundaries between pool, landscape, architecture, wellness and intelligent technology may become much less important. The pool becomes an environment. The equipment becomes an ecosystem. The water becomes something we understand rather than simply maintain.

That is the direction we're building toward.
