
Over the years our work has taken us deeper into the systems behind the water — filtration, circulation, hydraulics, equipment, water balance, sanitation, environmental conditions, and the many small decisions that determine whether a pool simply functions or truly performs.
That experience changed the way we see a pool. We stopped looking at it as a maintenance appointment and started looking at it as a water ecosystem.

We believe a swimming pool is more than a body of water. It is a living environment shaped by circulation, filtration, hydraulics, equipment, chemistry, temperature, architecture, landscape, technology and the people who use it. Our responsibility is to understand the entire system.
We approach every pool with curiosity, investigation, craftsmanship and respect for the water. When something goes wrong we don't jump to conclusions or take the easiest answer. We investigate. We test. We observe. We follow the evidence.

As technology advances, we envision a future where pools become increasingly intelligent — using sensors, automation, monitoring and artificial intelligence to help homeowners understand what is happening within their water systems before small problems become expensive ones. But technology is never the purpose. The technology should serve the water.
Our mission is to bring together water science, responsible stewardship, professional expertise, thoughtful design and emerging technology to create water environments that are safer, smarter, more efficient and more enjoyable.
The traditional pool-service model is built around a route. Arrive. Test. Clean. Adjust. Move on to the next pool. That model has its place, but it isn't where we wanted to take CW Pools.
We believe some pools require someone willing to understand the entire system — not simply the symptoms that appear on the surface.
Those questions led us from routine service toward specialty consultation, professional evaluation, water-system assessment, equipment expertise, project planning and system design.
Along that journey our thinking about water began to expand. Water isn't only chemistry. It is movement. It is temperature, light, sound, reflection, circulation, filtration, landscape, architecture and atmosphere.
A waterfall changes a space. A quiet pool changes the feeling of a home. Moving water interacts with the landscape around it. And the way a water system is designed determines not only how it operates, but how people experience it.
This became the beginning of our Living Water perspective. Living Water is not a claim that every idea about water has been scientifically proven. It is a philosophy of curiosity and observation — a willingness to look at water from more than one perspective and continue learning.
Our journey has brought together practical pool knowledge with an expanding interest in water science, natural systems, technology, environmental influences, and the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit.
Some areas are established professional practice. Others are emerging technologies and research. And some belong to the realm of exploration and philosophy. We believe those distinctions matter.
We don't need to pretend that every new idea is established science to be curious about it. We can investigate. We can learn. We can test. We can question. That spirit of learning is becoming part of the culture we are creating around CW Pools.
We envision a future where pool care is less about reacting to problems and more about understanding systems.
And where a pool can become more than an amenity. It can become part of the environment in which people live.
Our journey is also taking CW Pools toward a new generation of pool technology. The next evolution is the connected pool — sensors, monitoring, intelligent equipment, remote information, automation, and eventually AI bringing the physical water system and the digital world together.
Tom is developing toward that future now, bringing together his experience with pool equipment and systems with advanced technology and AI programming.
The objective isn't to replace experience with technology. It is to use technology to extend experience.
A future system should be able to tell its owner what is happening, recognise changing conditions, identify developing problems and help make better decisions. The technician of the future may not need to stand beside every pump to understand what the system is doing. The system itself will begin telling us.
CW Pools is becoming more than a pool company. It is becoming a way of thinking about water — a culture built around knowledge, curiosity, craftsmanship, responsible care, thoughtful technology, and respect for the environments we create.
It is also where our future relationship with Buddha Pools begins to make sense. The two approach water from different directions while sharing the same underlying respect for it.
Different expressions. A shared respect for water.
We don't know exactly what the next decade of water technology will bring. That's part of what makes the journey interesting.
We intend to keep learning. We intend to keep questioning old assumptions. We intend to adopt technology when it genuinely improves the system. And we intend to remain grounded in the practical knowledge that comes from actually working with water and equipment.
From the Arizona desert to the red rocks of Sedona and wherever our work eventually takes us, the direction is becoming clear.
